Dr. Rocco Rinaldi

Senior Consultant, FranchiseWell

Rocco has over two decades in entrepreneurship and franchising, with a wide-breadth of experience in strategic management, brand-building, and leading field support teams. His strengths are in operational leadership, brand management, concept development, strategic planning, and franchise systems growth. He has been part of the executive leadership teams for several national franchise brands in the professional services, retail, and product development segments. Under his leadership, he developed and executed organizational strategies and tactical business plans to significantly grow market shares in very competitive market segments as well as bringing innovation and disruption to mature industries to strengthen brand awareness and improve top-line revenues.

Prior to joining Franchise Well, Rocco was the Regional Director for Comfort Keepers Franchising Inc., (Sodexo’s non-medical in home senior care franchise) and BrightStar Care LLCs Director of Operations (Corporate Stores). At Comfort Keepers, he was responsible for regional brand strategy, stakeholder support, and overall growth for a portfolio of single and multi-unit franchise territories with a $75M P&L, across 15 states and 100+ territories. At BrightStar Care, he was responsible for retail store strategy, marketing plans, and recruiting and managing a team of general managers and clinicians to oversee a $30M P&L across 5 states and Canada.

Rocco spent over five years with H&R Block as a Regional Director, based in the Mid-Atlantic, responsible for hiring and managing a team of business coaches to oversee more than 180 franchise locations and $100M in annual revenues, across eight states. As a field support leader, he gained experience developing innovative regional support programs, performance management groups, sales effectiveness coaching programs, and territory development strategies from start-up to acquisition and growth stage through maturity exit strategies. Many of these programs were implemented regionally and adopted nationally – leading to consistent double-digit growth that outpaced the organization averages and / or the marketplace by 2-3X.

Rocco earned his Doctor of Business Administration at William Howard Taft University in 2021 and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. Besides consulting small business owners and franchisors, he teaches business courses at two local Universities in Delaware. Most importantly, he is married for 28 years and has two daughters and four rescue dogs. Rocco is an avid runner, a connoisseur of all things Rolling Stones, loves vacationing at the beach with his wife and daughters, enjoys warm weather drives in his Corvette, and looks forward to what’s next!
